How much does it cost to list a vacation rental property?
After registering you can list one property FREE for 1 year!
The price after the Free Trial Period is $99 / year. Additional property
listings or renewals are $89 / year.
Do I need a credit card to sign up?
No. You can list one property free for 1 year. After
that you can pay for your listing with a check or money order.
Do you give discounts for listing multiple
properties?
Yes. Additional property listings or renewals are $89 / year.
Do you give discounts for property renewals?
Yes. Property renewals are $89 / year.
How do I make a payment?
Just click on Owner Login to sign in and
select Make A Payment from the menu. You can then make payments by credit
card, check, or money order.
If I pay early before my free trial expires will I
lose any of my free time?
No. If you make a payment for one year, the one year is added on
to the end of your free trial, so you will not lose any of your free time.
Are there any management or referral fees?
No. The only fee is the one we charge to list your
property. There are no hidden charges.
What is your refund policy?
Because we do not charge a setup fee and because most of the work is
done upfront setting up the property, submitting to search engines, and
promoting your property listing, we do not offer refunds. You are under
no obligation to renew your listing after it expires.
How do you promote this website?
We feel there is more to promoting your vacation rental properties then
just having a website. We therefore promote this website in a variety of
ways including: placement in all major search engines, linking with
travel related partners, advertising in major national publications,
advertising on the internet, direct mail, and many other marketing methods.
Adding Your Rental
How can I list my vacation rental property?
If you are a first time user click on List Your Rental.
You can then register and add your property. If you have already
registered click on Owner Login to sign in and enter
additional properties.
How long does it take to have my vacation rental
property listed?
Your vacation rental property will show up immediately.
How can I make changes to my vacation rental property
listing?
It is easy to make changes to your property listing at any time. Just
click on Owner Login. You can then make changes
to your property listings, change your contact information, add additional
properties, make payments, change your photos, and view statistics about your
property listings.
Why can't I see the changes I made to my
listing?
The old page may be stored in your browser's cache. Click on
your browser's Refresh button to clear the cache.
Do you have Availability Calendars for
vacation rental property listings?
Yes. All property listings include a free Availability
Calendar. Owners can update the Availability Calendar by signing in to
the Owner Login page and selecting Availability
Calendar from the menu.
Can I have a link to another website in my vacation
rental property listing?
Yes. Click on Owner Login to sign in,
select Edit Property from the menu, enter your link information in the
External Link area.
Will you enter my property listing for me?
No. Entering your property description would require us to know everything
about your property. We feel the property listings are more accurate when
the owner enters the property description. Nobody knows your property
better than you do.
How do I add photos to my listing?
Sign in to the Owner Login page. Select Photos
from the menu. From there you can upload your photos. Each listing
can have up to 9 photos. Photos must be .jpg (JPEG) format.
This is the standard format for most digital cameras and web images. If
your photos are not in .jpg format you can open the photos in your photo
editing software and save them in the .jpg format. Our
system will automatically resize uploaded images to be 350
pixels wide. Your photos will upload much faster if you first resize
your photos to be 350 pixels wide on your computer using your photo
editing software and then upload the smaller resized photo.
Can I advertise multiple vacation rental
properties in one listing?
No. Each vacation rental listing must be for one property
only. If you have multiple properties, each one must have a separate
listing. We offer a discounted price for mulitple property listings.
How will I receive inquiries?
Every property listing has a contact page which the renter will fill
out and will be sent to you by email. A history of your email inquiries
is also available by signing in to the Owner Login page
and selecting Inquiries from the menu. Your contact telephone number
is also provided on each property listing. If you have spam
filtering on your email make sure that emails from
visualvacationrentals.com are marked as not being spam.
